I love winter – strange, I know. So I am especially thankful for those beautiful winter days where I’m able to go outdoors and take a deep breath – stress melting away.
Greg and I often take this walk along the West River in Vermont. The landscape, changing with every season; winter adds its own artistryBack at home, curled up with a warm cup of hibiscus tea and a worn out pooch, it feels like the perfect Saturday.
I am joining Michelle for Thankful Thursday (on Saturday-running a bit late)
Have a wonderful weekend!

Looks like the perfect winter walk to me too! Bright sunny & crisp with crunchy snow underfoot!
Happy Saturday!
Hello, looks like a nice walk with the dog. You have much more snow there than we have. I should stop complaining. Enjoy your day and weekend.
What a great walk, and tired puppies are the best.
late is better than not at all. beautiful captures, from the looks of the tracks in the snow, you guys aren’t the only ones who enjoy winter walks!!!
I love winter, too and winter walks are the best!
It really has been so nice to get out and take some walks (without a scarf over my nose and mouth)!
The pups are happy too, which of course makes my heart happy.
I LOVE Vermont in the winter!!
Have a wonderful week ahead, Karen!
We haven’t been to Vermont when there’s been snow as we’ve had our own snowfalls here in NH. That snow-covered trail looks similar to one in the park near us here in Nashua. Sadly, warm temps and a day of rain have made it a muddy trail in the past couple of days.
Loved seeing your photographs.
What a great place to walk.
All the best Jan
Really cool trail and i wonder how dogs walk barefoot in snow!
